Keep Virginia Beautiful is dedicated to bringing the Commonwealth many unique ways to engage, educate, and motivate on behalf of our scenic environment. From co-sponsored Contests, like the video contest running in conjunction with A Bag’s Life, to giving away 30 grants in 30 days to worthwhile VA organizations doing the grassroots work of educating, beautifying, and conserving our state’s resources…KVB will continue to spearhead and gather all the state’s resources here. Contests • Make it fun and creative, using only original images and music. Our judges will pick the top 20 videos and then the online voting begins March 9.
Fundraisers • Keep Virginia Beautiful is excited to announce its first “green” school fundraiser available to all Virginia Schools.
Grants • KVB is proud to be able to provide the opportunity for organizations in VA to apply for one of (30) $1000 grants to be given in the the 30 days of April, 2011.
Blog/Group Request • Do you have a non-profit, civic, or community group interested in having your own voice on Keep VA Beautiful’s social site? You could have your own blog and share the resources of VA’s dedicated network for environmental information and action. Tell us a little more about you, and we’ll get right on it.
