I believe that they use up yo 50% less energy, they last longer that traditional lights and that they do not produce heat (which is really great when talking about xmas lights)…that is my limited knowledge of LEDs

We just launched our Fall Cleanup Campaign. From September 1 – November 30th 2011 communities in Prince William County can request free cleanup supplies to make their efforts a success. Visit http://www.pwcleancouncil.org to download the form.

@scottdickens Thanks, I agree. The new name makes much more sense. I would love to talk mew logos, but need to pray that the board makes the correct decision to authorize a new logo. Right now they want to go without. Yikes!

Prince William Clean Community Council’s board of directors just voted to change our name to Keep Prince William Beautiful! I will be providing more details and an official announcement soon. Now we are like everyone else! YAY!

Thanks. This is the second year of our program, and it has by far been the best program we have implemented since I have been here. By the end of this year, we will have placed nearly 4K labels in Prince William County.
